About SFNA

The Society of Future Nurse Anesthetists (SFNA) began as "The CRNA Chase blog", launched in December 2019 to empower and inspire aspiring Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). From its first post, the blog aimed to support CRNA candidates through their educational and career journeys.

SFNA has since evolved into a comprehensive community resource, offering mentorship, education, and tools to help ICU nurses navigate the CRNA application process. Our mission is to empower critical care nurses through targeted support, helping them overcome challenges and succeed in their path to becoming CRNAs.

Based on feedback from over 120 aspiring CRNAs, SFNA addresses key barriers like mindset challenges, lack of mentorship, and admissions confusion. We provide tailored guidance, one-on-one mentorship, and resources for both professional and personal growth, ensuring each nurse is confident and well-prepared on their journey to becoming a CRNA.
